Your Website Profit will migrate to WordPress. I already found great hosting, and am now trying to find a good theme and all the plug-ins I need. I expect to have the WordPress blog live on Saturday, after which I will modify the DSN.
I hope to get it work on the exact same address as before. Hopefully I will even get the post names to match the old ones. Yeah, I will also move all the old posts - assuming I find a way to do it other than copy&paste.
The reasons for doing this include my frustration with poor comment management, the downtime a couple of weeks ago, and repeated problems with uploading images. I’m hoping WordPress will work better for me. (Though I’m not sure if I believe it, some also claim that Blogger takes a share of AdSense revenue.)
I really hope this won’t cost me many visitors. Feed subscribers should mostly be unaffected as I can simply change the feed address with FeedBurner. They might see some ‘new’ posts, but there’s nothing I can do about it.
The change should make the blog better looking, and more reliable. Once I’ve done it, I will write a guide, so that no one else who does it will repeat my mistakes. The blog might be unavailable for some time on Saturday.

I recently started with WordPress and so far i like them quite a bit.
maybe in 08 i can make the move. right now it’s just not for me
