Sometimes you need just a few extra bucks to pay a bill, purchase a domain, or for other minor expenses. Committing long term to a website for profit may not be an option in those circumstances. Luckily, there are a number of ways to earn a quick buck online, many of which require little skills or knowhow from you. Here are three freelancing options I recommend as ways to make extra money online.

Article Writing
Content is king in Internet marketing, and there are always webmasters with their various projects looking for content writers. If you are willing to work for $1-2 per 100 words, you are sure to find buyers. You could use Constant Content for a better pay, or head to DigitalPoint to make a quick sale.

Website Creation
If you know your HTML and CSS, you can make extra money by creating websites and selling them. Even with next to no skills, you can set up WordPress blogs with a few posts, and sell them for a few extra bucks. Again, DigitalPoint is one place you can sell them, but also check out SitePoint marketplace.

Design Work
If you have PhotoShop (or GIMP may do) and some skill to use it, you can design logos, headers, banners or even website templates for money. The pay is generally better than for article writing. You can sell $10 logos that will take maybe 15 minutes of your time to create.
With skill and effort you could also turn any of the above to a work from home job. It might not make you rich, but freelancing is an excellent way to make extra money. Be creating your own website to sell your work and show off your portfolio you look more professional. After you have created a network of contacts you may charge more, if the quality of your work is good.
