BloggingZoom was hacked and the server is still down. This is despite the serious investments Court and Vic have made to ensure the site’s growth. Let’s hope they can get the server back online as soon as possible.

For those who haven’t heard about it, BloggingZoom is a social media site like Digg and many others, but for bloggers only. It’s content is currently mostly meta-blogging oriented, and it has featured many great posts on becoming a better blogger. Posting your own content there is perfectly fine by the rules.

For more information on BloggingZoom, see my BloggingZoom review and my earlier post on social media marketing. For information regarding the situation, you should check out Court’s post on the matter.

Update

BloggingZoom is back online and has a new look. The skin is still under development according to a comment by Vic on a story. I like the new look, though I’m waiting for the new logo.

I can’t believe this happened. How are hackers able to do this. It put everyone at risk and messes with peoples lively hood.

Hackers are a pain. Vic and Court are upsetting a few people because they are giving away too much good info.

I read Vic and Court’s blogs and love the info they share. I guess there are some people that don’t and need to be destructive. If they took their “hacking time” and put it into something useful they would do a lot better!
